Wayne Liebhard has written regularly for Minnesota Physician magazine since the early 1990s, shedding light on the continuing issues plaguing medicine and the doctor-patient relationship. His writings advocate for returning control of medical care to the doctor-patient level. His “Elephants in the Exam Room” books won numerous national awards and spurred him on to lecturing regularly about the proper delivery of medical care.

Liebhard continued the medical theme in his recent suspense novel “The Vortex Effect”, which also delves into the Minnesota music scene and current socio-political issues. Liebhard has also written for other periodicals, including Mustang Monthly magazine. His new novel “Remember My Face” is expected to be released in 2018.
